CAPRA Update
Capranauts,
Yes, it's me, your favorite member of Capra. First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for your incomparable support over the last few years while we have been working our hardest to make the best album we can and sticking with us through this exciting time. For those of you that have been able to make it to our live shows, I hope you have all had as much fun as we have. You are all a huge part of our lives and we feel that you should know every bit of what is going on in Capraland.... the good, the bad, the ugly, the twisted, and the "oh my god, I can't believe Paul just did that"'s..... After 6 years of being in this band, sharing some unbelievable times, and creating some truly kick ass music, Kelly has decided to leave the band. As any artist can tell you, this business and lifestyle is incredibly difficult. It takes 100% of your heart and soul to stick with it and be able to enjoy the art that has been created, and the passion that is able to be shared with everyone that is touched by it. In this case, Kelly's heart and true belief wasn't with this band or this record. Therefore, he has decided that his life's journey will follow a different path. Whatever it may be, we wish him nothing but happiness and success. As for the rest of us, we will continue doing what we love and believe in more than anything else in this world...... this band, this record, continuing to create great music together, and spreading the CAPRAlove throughout the universe. I know this is a bit shocking. It is very new to us as well. We will never let you guys down and we can't thank you enough for your continued support. Our train keeps rollin'... next stop, The Starlight Bowl...... then the Nikka Costa tour....... after that..... well, I'm pretty sure it's finally getting this record out! We have a lot of exciting things planned in the near future that we can't wait to share with you guys. Again, thank you for being so amazing to us. We got nuthin but love fo ya...... See you real soon!

Exciting Times in All Our Minds
Good day CAPRAnauts! It's a beautiful day here in Los Angeles, the sun has found it's shine, the air is crisp with spring love, and above all WE HAVE FINALLY COMPLETED OUR DEBUT ALBUM!!!!!!! We are overwhelmed with joy, it is a huge accomplishment for us as band and we cannot wait to share this beast with the world. Especially those of you who have patiently supported us through this epic journey; making this album has been similar to a space excursion through the vortex of creation. Which leads into our next bit of news, our debut album will be titled COME BACK TO EARTH. An explanation you ask....? Well in short, given the experience of creating this album, we feel we've gained a new perspective, looked from the outside in, similar to seeing the earth from the moon and not from where you're currently standing inside the marble. However, interpret it as you see fit. Whether you use the phrase for internal speculation or chant it to the establishment, COME BACK TO EARTH is yours to embellish; positively of course :-) In other news, we've put up a new website www.capramusic.com as well as new t-shirts and some sexy CAPRA booty shorts on our merch store www.caprastore.com for your fashionable selves. Check em' out, wear em' out, spread the love! We've also started booking a bunch of SHOWS! We're playing April 9th at the Viper Room on Sunset Blvd and we also have a residency there throughout the month of May to name a few, check the new website for more. The fan responses to all the new material has been amazing!!!!! Thanks to all of you CAPRAnauts that have been coming out, we love you guys and we can't wait to perform for you all again. CAPRA Presents: CAPRAdelics Studio Webisodes
Good Day/Evening CAPRA fans! While you guys have been patiently waiting for new CAPRA tunes, we've been working diligently in the studio finishing our debut album! We will be releasing weekly CAPRAdelics webisodes (with the help of our good friend and photographer Sean Baello) that take you step by step through our recording process, and the making of our album. Each will include: interviews, footage of the band recording, as well as a candid look at our recording process and the construction of our record. The first CAPRAdelics webisode will be released for your viewing pleasure next week along with some still photography of us in the studio. Exciting times so remained tuned in.
